Emily Jackson - A new candidate with a Vision

Advocate, compassionate and dedicated are just a few words that describe Emily Jackson, a candidate vying for a seat on the Talbot County Board of Education. We need a future school board member with attributes such as these to represent all students, families, and educators in Talbot County Public Schools.

We need Emily Jackson because she understands why service to others is so important within our community. Her willingness to work collaboratively with stakeholders is critical in this work. Her mission to improve education is evident as she works to ensure programs and resources are available for teachers and students.

Emily understands the value of the universal pre-K program and why programs such as these support early learning and helps families. We can not afford to let a program this valuable be compromised by potential budget cuts. This can be achieved through the collaborative partnerships Emily will develop with all stakeholders. Emily understands effective communication and building authentic relationships with our local officials are key components for success.

Emily will share the importance of developing a technology platform that support students and embraces their learning, while are preparing students for future opportunities. There are various needs within Talbot County Public Schools and we need Emily Jackson because she will make decisions based upon the needs of our students and all educators.
