10 Characteristics of Effective Board Members

There is a difference between just being a board member and being an effective board member. I can confidently say that I am an effective board member.

Over the past four years I have consistently heard from the community that I exceed their expectations when it comes to serving their needs on the BOE, and I think it really comes back to these 10 pillars. I have used my time to really lean into each of these, and if I were to describe myself as a board member every single one of these items would come up.

It’s important to elect effective board members, and I have shown how effective I can be. I have big plans for the next four years, and am excited to act on them.

Please vote Emily Jackson, for Board of Education District 4. Your family deserves continued effective representation.
